He had debated silently to himself for an hour on the approach to the town as far as whether to bed along the road outside the city limits or if he wanted to attempt to get a room at a local inn. Damien had been screaming non-stop for over an hour. It was going on two in the morning. Integral paced the sitting room of her quarters, bouncing her son in her arms, trying desperately to settle him. She had been running on three hours of sleep a night for two weeks because of this. Damien had begun this nightly tirade at roughly seven weeks old. He was almost three months and she still couldn't figure out how to calm him. Nothing seemed to work. Anette decided that since Vlad and her were good friends she decided that maybe she should go on a date with him. She fought off the butterflies in her stomach and went to him.
